Susan Olsen
Susan Olsen has more than twenty years of development experience in museums and higher education institutions, most recently with the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, where she served as director of development and external relations for a decade. Susan's interests and expertise are in strategic philanthropy, governance, capital campaign planning, and building relationships with major and principal gift donors and other community stakeholders. Susan directed the Gardner Museum's first capital campaign, and led the community outreach and fundraising efforts for its Centennial Celebration. Prior to the Gardner Museum, she served as a director of development at Lesley College, assistant director of development at Northeastern University, and assistant director of Children's Discovery Museum, Acton.
